The excitement continues to build for this event.The race posters look great,and are being placed in area businesses.
A banner plane was flying up and down the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk promoting the race.People were asking about the parade and the race.The sound of race boats testing in the bay and river could be heard all weekend.This is what this event was like when it was the Benihana Grand Prix.This event is a must do for the racers and fans.Thanks to OPA,New Jersey Offshore, and of course; AMF Offshore Racing for making it happen.I have the feeling that this only the begining of good things to come for this race and our sport in general.

i was on the water yesterday and saw the banner being flown down as far as Bayville...should be an awesome turnout.

as of right now 30-40% chance of showers temps in the mid 80's. whenever it humid we get these kind of percentages...now way of knowing this early in the game
