Seat Cost for Race Boat

I am looking for input on what to charge a person who wants to drive. I have a performance class boat and all the equipment to race. In the past I have raced with family and split the cost. I have seen boat owners post open seats but I have no idea what is a fare cost to the individual filling the seat.

Thanks,
Dave

$1,000.00 and up per race and up from there. Get the money up front......

Ryan is right. Plus there are other things to take into account. How well do you get a long? Does he have equal or more experience? Less experience often gets some one hurt. Can he really drive it? What is his work ethic like?
Good Luck
Jim
