Some great teams during that era! I will never forget INXS coming by the pier house and setting off car alarms because it was so loud!

There were a few, US offshore , APBA ,SBI plus the west coast and others. As I recall that was a joint race. There were so many A boats the split the class single and twins. Joker didn't list the F boats. May be that was 94.

That was the best year in Key West by far. But it was tough on us. We came in 2nd the first day (our of 23 boats) and then rolled the second day while fighting with Obsession for second place.

Damn Buzzi buzzard kicked out asses, then went in, put more deisel in it, changed the letter to a D and kicked thier ass too.

PS we were members of US Offshore and APBA that year.

Jim,
That was 1994 when you and Brian raced his Shadow in F-Class.You guys in "Clueless" had a great race going on with "Hyperactive"and "Lay It Out" before your accident.Really wish the single outboard class would make a comeback.1994 Had even more boats(147); than 1995.A-Class had the most boats (35).The start going out of Key West harbor to turn 1 was insane. This was the best race in the history of offshore powerboat racing...except for the fact that Tom Gentry was killed in a racing accident.

JC, Has that Joe Sgro driving?
Mark, Brian took home a big Second place trophy. We were out so far in front and didn't even know it. That was a great day up until we found that hole.
