Another Loss For Offshore

After a long battle with cancer , Jeff Dindo of New Hampshire has passed away. Know best for his time in The Body Guard race boats Jeff was a great competitor and good friend. I hadn't seen Jeff in a few years and got the news today from Dennis Berry. I am sure some others can chime in with more info. My thoughts are with his family. God Speed .....

This is a sad loss, I raced against him in stock class and he was always there for a great laugh and true competition. Jeff will be missed my prayers go out to Jeff's family.

Jeff will be greatly missed as a close friend and a great competitor. As the competitor he was, he fought cancer to the very end but never gave up his good sprit. For those who knew Jeff really enjoyed his company and his sence of humor. He will be sadly missed! As the arrangements are made I will update everyone. May god bless Jeff, his long time girlfriend Deb and Jeff's family.

I'll be joining you from Chicago Bryan. We had many laps and alot of laughs. Jeff Dindo was the authentic deal on and off the racecourse. We missed him for the past few years, now it will be forever. Very sad news. SQ

I spoke with Deb today and she told me she never met a person that could fight so hard. He wouldn't give up and fought to the very end. He spoke a lot of all the great friends he met thru the years he raced and how much he missed them. And was hoping one day he would be racing with all his buddies again. I guess god had different plans for him. For those interested Jeff's wake is Thursday 4 to 8 at W.S. Cavanaugh @ son, 374 Main st. in Wilmington, Ma. 01887 phone 978-658-4476. The funeral is Friday at United Methodist also in Wilmington.

I raced with Jeff for a couple years in BODYGUARD and he was a great guy and good friend . On the course he was a very competitive , talented racer and in the pits he was ALWAYS good for lots of laughs. I will never forget all the good times at races sites ... R. I. P.

wow jeff and al faella were our main competitors for a few years in BODYGUARD (us offshore) ..both tough competitors... very sorry to hear the news...
