Depth Of Lake Ponchatrain

for the upcoming race in lake ponchatrain, just wanted to let people know that the average depth ok the lake is 12-16' deep. when it's hit by thunderstorms it can get pretty "squirrely". winds can hit a boat from every direction. being on it on a cat sailboat and thought we were in a small hurrican.
