Mike, Congrats to you and your son. It sounds like he has made you very proud and thankful---what a great honor! I think I can relate somewhat to that feeling you had in your chest. I will never forget that day---one of the best days of my life was the day I graduated from bootcamp with my platoon as we marched across the parade deck/grinder on the morning of Friday September 9, 1977.

I was just telling someone today that I wouldn't go back through bootcamp if they paid me $100,000---it was a hard thing to live through mentally/physically and the only easy day was yesterday.

What school is your son attending in 29 Palms? Please thank him for us for serving. God bless you and your family.

Mark

Wardey i did not mean to highjack your thread but i felt i had been throught the same thing as you. This was tough it is not what i wanted for my son, but after 3 years of college he decided it was not for him. Killer is he was doing ok he could have finished, but he told me this is what he had wanted to do sense high school. So yes i am very proud of him. Mark he is taking, i will try to get this right intelligence / data
