Chine walking v bottom

I have a 35' twin step v with twin 700's and nxt's. If the boat takes a nice set it's all good and very fast but if it doesn't get passed 80 mph with out a chine walk I'm screwed. I would like advice from a bottom guy on the west coast if possible to come up with a remedy. Side by side 24 degree twin step with transom notch and surface drives. Thanks in advance for your comments

put a pic on line. dont care to know the boat, but the lifting strakes are in the wrong place, Period

I aggree. We have moved them 3 times with temporary strakes, they may be to small but it is a fine line when you don't want to add any transom lift. I take a pic and post possibly tomorrow.

then add width and not move them closer

I agree when we moved the fronts up and made them wider it got better. This testing takes so much time you just want to here someone else's opinon.

Drag it down to Dan at Team archer in Costa Mesa. It will be another opinion and he can do the work. We had to make some changes in the setup on my 382 w 700's/nxts. Flat, level and faster than the factory boats

Thanks I'll talk to him I work in Costa Mesa.

Try moving weight around. It might save you some money. Mine is very sensitive to just a hundred pounds.
