I figured there had to be some kind of difference in the systems that change the effects.

I think it is wise that JBS has more of a control burn being as they are usually around large crowds.

Fusco is careful of his surrounding when he lights up and usually anyone around to see it is at a distance except for the people in the boat itself.

That can sometimes be challenging when afterburners are lit in a parking lot...

We all saw the close call in OC with another team... and that wasn't intended to put on a show..

in this form the afterburner provides added thrust, which provides added speed+performance.

So Im guessing that explains the poker run vs. racing choice... flame throwers are prohibited by the orgs..
