Money it takes to Race

Not sure of the class but lets say one of the big Cats 50'.
What kind of money does it take to campaign one of those for a season and what is the money used for? (exp: salaries, boat, travel etc.)
Just interested being as I've been trying to get funding for a NASCAR Nationwide team for a few years now.
Thanks,
Jim

Cool, what would it take to get started and how many races during the season?

You'll need about at least 500K for boat, motors, drives, props. You'll need a truck or two to tow the boat and support equipment. About 8 regular season races a year plus the worlds in Key West. You'll need about 50K for KW race week. Oh yea it will be about 7 grand to win KW and only the top 5 get prize money.
