Hope you can make it we don't plan on taking any prisoners |
Last minute as usual. Is there anywhere I can find documented demographics for the Biloxi races in recent years? More specifically the spectator attendance and visitor influx to the city for past race weeks. Is there a tourism dept. or other in Biloxi that can be contacted for any info on this. Need it yesterday.
|

Chris,

This is not exactly correct...................OSS hosted this race with SBI in May of 2010. If you recall, that in 2010, SBI tried to join forces with OSS for a few select events for the season I have been to this site a few times, and the spectator, poker run boaters and community exposure was outstanding in the past. I believe the local promoter ( Woody et al) does everything possible to make this a wonderful community event. The Casino's on the water offer VIP viewing and packages for this race,,,,,,,,, We (The Snowy Mountain Brewery) will be hosting a Fresh Micro-Brew Tasting event on Saturday afternoon,,,,,, Bring your taste buds ,,,,,, Microbrew #1 Aspen Hellas (5%ABV) A pilsner lager lightly colored with aromatic malt Hoped with German Tettnanger hopped which gives it a light spicy taste. (Budweiser used to be a pilsner when it was first brewed). The Hellas is fermented with a Lager Yeast; Date back to mid 16th century Bottom fermenting (Saccharomyces uvarum) Cold fermenting Longer fermentation time Longer conditioning time Crisp, clean, simple profile 4-8 weeks Microbrew #2 Saratoga Wit (9%ABV) *Belgium style wheat beer with coriander and orange added for taste. 1/3 Wheat Malt Brewed wGerman Tettnanger hops (a light spicy taste) (9%ABV) The Wit is fermented with an Ale Yeast; Date back 8-10 thousand years Top fermenting (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) Warm fermenting Faster fermentation time Faster conditioning time Full, round, complex profile 7-10 weeks fermenting We are expecting another snow storm in Denver today,, so this warm weather event will be a treat,, Cheers http://www.saratogaresortandspa.com/...ntain-brewery/ |
Thank Doc thats all good info.
See you this weekend sounds like a taste good time. |
I hope the tasting is after the poker run.......I like free beer.
