I would strongly recommend the YUKA C3/225 Race Cat.

Lightweight = easy towing
25ft = easy storage
200hp = easy on gas and pocket book
Fast = 85mph is easy with a stock 200hp
Safe = Bottom out escape hatch and reinforced canopy
Cheap = NEW Hulls ready to rig for 27k euro (plus freight)
Cheaper = Used boats can be found rigged race ready for 30k-40k and used hulls for 10-15k

They are build in Istabul Turkey and at this time I'm the only one with a YUKA in the USA (hope to change that).

Other boats that are just as fast and in some cases faster are the Twister, Argo, Argentinian Hot Boat and a few others. These boats look the same but have F16
seating with the driver in from, throttle man in back, 800lbs lighter and just as fun!

Shipping is easy, but sometimes a little slow if things get held up in customs.

Call me a 586.260.9518 or email me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

The "Assigned Risk" was a real runner back in the US OFFSHORE days; I would love to see that boat back out racing again. I think it would be ideal for Class 4.

i love your pantera, always liked sinister looking rig! at this point i'm concentrating on a twin engine boat unless i can find a single engine canopy boat for the right money. it looks like the most reasonable class to run would be opa class 4.

TeamSaris 09-24-2015 10:17 PM

If there is anything we can do to help you get into a class 4 boat don't be afraid to ask! Class 4 is a great group of guys and the more the better.

Is this boat in the USA? Who makes it? Are there others?

Hi Randy,

This one is in Sweden - As I stated in post #14 :) We have bought many boats from US during the years so to send A boat the other direction is no problemo..

Built here in Sweden. The number #2 of this boat is built now.

I know you guys have very good boats and builders in US but this one is available if anyone need her.

Mange

TYPHOON 10-06-2015 01:54 PM

Is there anything different about it compared to our boats? Is it a new hull or is it a proven hull with a new canopy added.

F1-00 Racing 10-06-2015 03:09 PM

Randy, Its an Activator... just some slight differences and updates from when you went testing on Raritan with it

Mange 10-06-2015 03:16 PM

It's based pretty much on the same hull as the small, narrow and famous girl in SVL class :D It's from the 27 Activator. It has some different bottom design now. Padded keels etc. The canopy and deck is new design. The deck is light. Entire boat less rigging is about 800 kilo circa.

"Old" 27 Activator hull, correct?

Speaking of which, who is currently racing the one canopied 27 that was here in the US? I bet that could be had for a reasonable price.

Nevermind, I started typing this before everyone jumped in...

TYPHOON 10-08-2015 05:29 PM

Thanks. I didn't know if someone over sea's designed something new we have not seen in the USA. I couldn't imagine anything new in that size being much different. Let face it we all run on the back 3-4 feet of our boats in calm water. In the ocean bigger waters its more about set up than new bottom designs. Any way I like the deck and canopy layout.
Who has the SVL Lavy Craft these days???

:D I had to google a weight converter. 1763 lbs.

The 2nd canopy boat that are in build now going to put around 2100 lbs - less rigging.

I have a class 5 or 6 26 ft velocity ready to race for $20,000 needs nothing or $15,000 less power
Its a complete package from helmets and intercom to prop and gps speedo gas it up win.
With the power that's in it now propped with a big wheel I had it up to 87 mph the engine is a pump gas 510ci
Full bulk heads in the bow has a back seat platform that could be covered and used for pleasure or poker runs
If it where bought less power it will come with full dress for your engine.
I also I have raced it in class 4
I have also set the record at loto for a 26 ft boat with a no power adder class and set the number 103 mph and it still stands.
Its a very easy boat to run and turns like its on rails.
