What ever happened to Pat Patel and Don Q?
I heard the boat was sold to Spirit of Puerto Rico. Is that true?
Patel was always a contender. Just curious.

A Skater Vee Bottom? Now that sounds interesting. I am assuming it's a "Super Vee" class boat.

If you check out the APBA site, you'll notice a certain "Skater V 399 Race" boat listed in the Homoligation section under Super Vee and F2. This was the Baja/Skater Joint venture project that Baja backed out of.

It would definately be worth the trip to see how this boat performs. :cool:
