I will probable race F1,but I have a great P4 boat ready to go also.I spoke to Augie today and hes going to see if anyone is interested in it for the coming year. I have to send him all the specs. tomorrow.So i'm sure that one way or another this boat will be racing in P-class.

Thats great.The more the merrier.tell Augie we said hey,slowly but surely this will all come together if we all keep working together.

I told Eddie that we would run P class if there wasn't enough F1 boats running.I think we need more boats in fewer classes to have a good time and I dont think prize money should be paid to anyone at least this first year.Keep it simple and fun.People pay to do poker runs and dont complaine.It all part of the expense of having fun.Trim all the fat,streamline the cost and have fun to grow the fleet.Actualy who cares if there are big crowds to watch at first.They will come when the word is out about how much fun we are having.Rome wasnt built in a day!

i agree with randy. if anyone is racing for the prize money, then i'm worried about them.

Frank I love compatition but if there isnt more than 5 boats in F1 at a divisional race then we should drop the class and merge with P class. And the same goes for any class.We need to start from scratch and only have classes if there are 8 or more boats at the race.

P1 100 mph-plus ( P1,PX,SVL twin,super-cat,supercat-lite,F2 SBI )

P2 80-100 mph ( F2 APBA,P3,P2,SVL single,S class outboards )

P3 60-80 mph ( F1,P4,P5 and all rookies )

Shorten the race to 35-45 miles

Only after a class explodes with equal boats should you have another class say F1 or F2 ect.

If you are serious about running in the pro sreies build your boat to there specs so you can run there also.But in the meantime you will have more compatition at a local race.

My family an I have hashed next year over since we finished in Deerfield.Since im the guy that put them thrue hell after our mishape in 01 I figure they got as much to say about what and if I race this year as I do.I know if we race this year in vixen it will be in P5 and it will be APBA untell I know I can still do it. Wish you guys all the luck in the world and hope you come up with all the boats you can handle.
