Should Randy and the rest of the team be Penalized?
 

AS PER MAD CANDY:

We went from first to last because of a PX boat. Do you think its right that we missed the turn and lost a lap? Maybe Dreg can do a pole on this. We feel we were wronged but would like your opinions.
The story in a nut shell. We are running #1 after the 1st or 2nd lap, stayed in that position for 4-5 more laps. Propco and High Energy are hot on our tail aprox (10-20 yards ) behind us. At the jug handle turn we were challenged by the PX boat for position. We still ran a aggressive turn as not to lose time with boats hot in pursuit. With a 40' wall of water in front of us we hoped for the best and followed behind. Not being able to see Realizing we were off course and no way to correct it we stopped and waited for Propco to pass and then got back in the hunt. My question would be if the PX boat was not there why would we miss a turn we already maid 6 times before? Are we wrong in this assumption? Should we be denied a win after a race we were leading for so long? Is it just racing? You all know we work hard for our wins and so do all the teams we just want what right. If I am just crying let me know and I will drop it.
I applaud Propco and all the F1 team for a great race and wish this never happened. If I am wrong in any of my thoughts and anyone saw anything different please speak up.

Absolutely not, being washed down by a PX boat who should be racing on Sunday anyway simply is not safe....let alone unfair....but I guess rules' rule.....

I feel for you Randy & Glenn, but 2 years ago you won a race from 5th place, I caught a spectator marker by 5 feet, several hundred yards from any spectator boats, the penalty took me from 1st to 6th, We traveled the same path as the pace boat, I have on camera the parade lap and saying to my driver (John) if the Pace Boat dosn't know where the course is how the hell are we suppose to know. I made every turn and every lap and was looking for the checkered flag when you came in the wet pits with it, so I know exactly how you feel, **** happens, if you get this flag then I want mine back.

i love you but quit whinning. the proper procedure would be to slow down untill you can see. that's part of racing dude. or learn how to read a compass. i know you don't know how because you wanted bogger pillows. i think it;s high time you learned.

Tred. Glenn went for eye surgery today so maybe that will help.;) I still want bigger turn markers we can see. And f!#@k that compass in a F1 boat at 80 MPH. Are we still in 1970 with a navigator? Lets race as hard as we can but know where we are going. Or maybe slow down and look at our compass and negotiate the course and then get back in it. I don't think so!

no need to slow down to lok at the compass. if you put it right in front of you your good to go. you only need to glance at it one in a awhile. i use mine all the time when i am in the lead.
