apba schedule????
 

Any word as to the TBD race yet?? it would be nice to know for planning purposes. also any word on bahama's, i read somewhere that it is the only site not yet secured??

The TBD race will be held in Sarasota Fl. This year, it will be divisional and next year, Im told, will be a national event. And I belive it will be the weekend after labor day.

Thanks for the input, i had seen the article on apba website, but i thought there was going to be a national event, the weekend before or after.

Is it like the news you announced in marathon about apba racing in orange beach al and then finding out they decided to go with sbi. sounds like great news for sbi to me??

Mike A Never said we were going to Orange Beach, he said they were were close to a deal to race in Orange Beach. Anyone that has been in sales,stocks, etc knows that deals fall through at the 11th hour quite a bit. Get your facts straight Chaser

I'll probally get ridiculed for this but I first answer with I know it is easier said than done. But I am a proud member of APBA, OPA, and SBI. Is there any possibilty of maybe a merger between everybody and have all of the races on one schedule. I just want to race and leave the political bull crap to somebody else. Actually like OPA's philosophy, race and avoid the political nightmare. Or at least a good start would be a unified world championship. I dunno maybe I am just babbling, but its gets old on here listening to people complain about the "other circuits" that they arent a part of. All of the circuits have great points and they all have their faults but people on the boards of all of the circuits are trying to overcome them and provide a showcase for our talents and more importantly our passions. Just my 2 cents and bring it on fire away and tell me how much of an idiot I am for thinking that this is a perfect world. Trent

nice thought but who would want all the controversy and legal battles brought over from apba, i know i would not want all that crap while trying to put a combined race on. jeez think of the legal liability with that, not to mention the credability issues from apba. like i said nice thought though.

Chaser, what happened to the race in New orleans??? all the sanctions have issues with one thing or the other, people usually race where there is the most competition. Some race where they have the most fun, quit bagging on your dislikes of apba, none of us are saying anthing bad about sbi, or anything else, i usually go to a few sbi races and have enjoyed them as well . just wish there were more boats.

What a great idea!!!! All the SBI boats could run in P class at the APBA worlds. We have room for 12 more boats.

Like I said in the other post..If you want to make a differance we the racers need to do this, why do ABPA and SBI have to merge to have a good turnout, If we all got together and race on one curciut we would have our 100 + boats and than in each class voice our likes and dislikes to make it better. We the racers make this sport. You only have 18 to 20 boats in SBI. I could have not gottin a sponsor with that turnout.
Half these guys *****in about APBA don't even race. If you got a problem with Mike or John deal with it..don't put it on them to join up there bussiness which they beleive in for us.
Mike A. if we can get another National race great that's what we want and I think you know that..I also did'nt ever hear Orange Beach was offical but you still got none racers talking trash while they sit at home.
