Sportsmaster o.k. !
 

There has been a lot of discussion about the Sportsmaster lower lately and how it supposedly slows you down. Well, Randy has one on his new Black Beauty. Kirk had it out in the bay yesterday before sending it off to Jersey and Savannah (it has arrived and Randy loves it.) There was no indication of a slowdown whatsoever. It looks like the X-dimension needs added care with the Sportsmaster. Sadly, APBA regs set strict limits. But even with sticking to the regs, Randy's sportmastered Black Beauty goes like the proverbial bat out of hell.

I also have a Sportsmaster on my new Kryptonite, also on a HP525. I am not constrained by APBA regs. I have ITS (extra setback) and Kirk mounted it a bit higher than Randy's. It will (Kirk promises) hit the water next weekend. We'll let you know.
