Media Coverage for Upcoming Sarasota Race
 

I volunteered to help out with PR and communications for the upcoming Sarasota race since my career has been centered around marketing communications for the past 20 years and my husband and I live in Sarasota. My primary responsibility will be as a contact person for all the media for this race. I am working on a media kit and I would like it to contain bios from as many of the teams as I can get, but especially teams with Florida residents. (Localization is usually what newspapers look for.) Additionally I will submit press releases and bios to each Florida team's hometown newspaper, TV station(s), and radio stations so you can get some local coverage as well.

If you would like to be a part of this media blitz please email me a current bio. If you have a recent photo of driver and throttleman and/or your boat that you can email me that will make your bios more interesting to the news media.

If you don't have a bio but would like me to write one for you, please answer the questions below and email back to me. I have tried to email as many of you as I can from what is probably an outdated list. This forum is probably a better way to reach everyone.

My goal is to have all materials from the teams in hand by August 1. Please call me if you have any questions.
