Point Pleasant P4 Odds Skyrocket!
 

"For the first time, we stand a chance to win," said Luigi L. (full name withheld for fear of recriminations) to this Forum Reporter. Luigi will compete in what is called "P4 Class" at this week's races in Pont Pleasant, NJ. "With Randy and Glenn in the race, we were doomed. With them out of the game, the playing field is kind of leveled."

Luigi referred to the suprising withdrawal of Randy "Mad Dog" Schleuss and Glenn "Hollywood" Murray from the race which is held in what Schleuss and Murray usually call "our back yard."

A few weeks ago, Randy Schleuss applied for the job as expert announcer. Today, he inquired about the possibility of obtaining a seat on the pace boat. Both positions would severeley hamper his ability to race.

The reasons for the withdrawal continue to be shrouded in mystery. Schleuss cited personal and business reasons. Other racers said that this claim lacks sincerity.
