I am working on a writeup of the HP525 and especially its computer (PCM555) under race conditions.

Points planned so far

- Theory of operations (heavy on sensors)
- Possible faults and fault reporting (codes, horn)
- Fault troubleshooting
- Guardian mode, friend or foe?
- Which sensors initiate Guardian mode, which don't
- How to get out of Guardian mode
- How to deal with spurious (intermittent) sensor problems that trigger Guardian mode

Has Mercury come out with a service manual yet? They didn't as of April 03.
