Update & a SPECIAL thank you

Many, many Thanks to all those in the racing community who offered sincere concern and help yesterday.
If anyone of the many who approached me after the incident felt I blew them off I apologize. Things were a bit tense and after I learned Allen and Andrew were gonna be ok my concern and concentration focused on the equipment.
The biggest thanks goes to the folks of the rescue teams who were on scene to help Allen and Andrew right after they rolled. After talking with the guys from the Lavey team last nite, they said they had to dodge the rescue boat when they got to our boat. They were only 15 or so sec. behind our boat and the rescue guys beat them there. THATS FAST!!!!
The boat seems to be mechanicaly and structuraly ok and I thank Warlock for building such a great boat, thats why I have one.
Minor cosmetic glass work and we'll live to race another day.
Allen is out watching the race today from the comfort of a big ass cruiser, Andrew will be coming home from the hospital and I'm gonna mow my lawn.
All in all we were the luckest team in Offshore racing yesterday.
See ya all in lauderdale

Dan,

Well said and ditto.....we were truly impressed with the response from rescue, the quick call from APBA to my wife, the medics at the wet pits, the boat tow, the people who picked up my helmet and the engine hatch, and anyone else who helped but didn't get recognized.

And especially you and Sherry.

We are blessed!

Allen and Lou Anne

Allen, you don't know how happy we were to see you ugly mug walking through the hot pits after the race and finally hearing Andrew was OK.
How is the boat?

Da boats good. Looked at it for the first time on Monday. The engine hatch was pulled off but is repairable and the hour meter was broken...can you believe that was all the damage! Engine cranked, gears shifted, outdrive steers, even the radio is working. Miracles do happen.

I'm not sure the boat actually rolled. I want to see the video. If it rolled, it did most of it in the air because there was no damage to the hull or interior. The little bag I keep water, hat and glasses in was right where I left it. Maybe I should have ridden down there!

It will definitely be back in Ft. Lauderdale. It was running good too. I hope when we get it in the water next week it still is.
