How did they weather the storm????

Im seeing alot of damage along the Chesapeak on the news.

How's the golf course? Wouldn't want any ponds to overflow onto the fairway:)

Any info on how the race site held-up during the storm??

All reports so far are good! The Hyatt stated that they only lost power for a few hours but are otherwise intact. We have not spoken directly with the top guy yet but they are fully open for business( maybe they have 60,000 squirrels running a generator but whatever works). We will be contacting all parties and sites tomorrow and see how things shake out. In this case being further up the river may have helped us immensely. I have heard horror stories and seen the truly devastating damage that this "tropical storm" brought and it was not pretty. I have also heard from people over there that debris seems relatively minor and that was backed up by a ride on my river today.

Clean up the boats, pack up the trucks, and let's get racing!
