Here's a good indicator. This boat ran in SBI P3 and the Bad Boy beat it all three races. This boat then ran in APBA class P2 and came in second behind Obsession.

Tony has done quite a bit of R&D with the 38. Playing around with the steps and strakes. True, last year he was doin 90 plus with the 500s, but the boat wasnt stable or handling properly. Since then, he has lowered the X dim. and added material to the steps and strakes. This obviously slowed the boat down a bit. It still ran in the mid to high 80s. Im not sure of his exact top speed with the 650s. But, i believe its just over 100mph.

Bad Boy
Jr. and I had the pleasure of whopping on the Bad Boy 38 for almost two weeks, while Tony and Kurt where making changes to the setup, Gained major stability, and cornering, while only giving up 2 mph. Boat still ran 92 on sealed HP 500's at legal weight, and X. Tony has a killer. Congtrats, Ed
