Private Forum is BS

Who put the Boyz on the map? Us? No the fans. Let them be a part! Or you might as well hang it up.

ed you're alright,sorry i busted your balls

Gee I wonder why there are so many classes.... as a group we cannot even agree on a public or private forum, when in the end there is a need and room for both.

I suggest we agree to disagree, move forward and let the future state take care of itself (regarding this topic).

Hey Rick (damn, I called you Ryan before),

A Thought about this proposal:

I am embarrassed that we as members are allowing a separate advertisement (as you can call it) for a competing forum. OSO has created, allowed and encouraged all those who feel the need to comment or explore the world of boat racing to explore and participate on their site.

What I am further embarrassed about is that some racers in this country believe they need a private forum to further fractionalize and dilute the sport. What is it going to take to make professionals out of this group or are they forever burdened to be a "club" type of mentality, where if you don't like the rules you pickup your toys and go elsewhere. Real professionals take up their issues professionally, with tact, sincerity and conviction of purpose. They are also willing to listen and explore all points and aspects. I would love the opportunity to sit down and discuss improvements to the sport and growth direction with professionals who identify themselves and know how to listen as well as contribute.

There are many who want this sport to grow. Hell speedvision drew a record audience with the ST. Pete show on 11/23. We started developing a fan base. Now some are out to destroy it.
