SOB Hulls
OK Guys just looking for opinions. What will be a competitive hull in sob? Will a 24' superboat style boat be to slow? Will a 22' velocity be to small? What do you think will be the hot set up? What kind of speeds will these hulls run? I think the motors will be 280hp 2.5.

23' Kryptonite, without a doubt. Perfect combinaton of length, weight, razor sharp step bottom. Will be best all around competitor. 300x or 2.5efi

Kryptonite builds some awesome boats.
What I am really hoping for is that all the different manufacturers will have their own competitive edge. Keeping things very interesting amongst all the competitors in this class. A 24 may be the boat to have at the rough water races while a 21 may be the boat to beat in the calm. Who knows? That is what will make this class grow. Everyone being competitive, as well as have affordable racing. Kryptonite has been one of many manufacturers that are backing this new class. With a possible class in the APBA now, the boys down south certainly will be able bring out their bad ass Single Outboard Boats to show off what they got. I can see the Worlds Championship Races now!!! The SOB's may out number most of the classes that are formed now....   |

My Father and I will back this new class and I feel our 24' Pantera would be a great boat for the class.
We would be interested in working closely with a few race teams interested in running a 24' Pantera in the class and who knows maybe even get My Father and I to run one also in the future.:) Regards, JO-Pantera Boats |
