Seriously, I wish to toast the following for a prosperous and healthy New Year:

1) To the teams and individuals that endure the expense, heat, punishment to equipment and self, and the risk of life to give us the best motor-sport in the world...

2) To the people that offer constructive insight and dialog to the sport without bashing.

3) To the teams that offer their labor and parts to their competition.

4) To the people that have structured, nurtured and grown the sport to its present size and popularity. This to include the leadership, staff and volunteers.

5) To the Internet and web sites that have given us significant access to information, dialog and parts not easily available to the general public for this niche market.

6) To God (or whomever you pray to "Zeus"?) for creating the ocean which gives us our playground

7) Those that gratuitously offer their expertise to newcomers to ease their troubles in this "Inexpensive" hobby and sport.

8) The manufacturers that provide our toys

9) The designers that come up with those outstanding paint schemes

10) and last, but certainly not least...to the women that openly support our vices....
