Where is your Favorite place to Race?
With all the talk of the 2004 race season, i was thinking about all of the beautiful cities we have been to.
What is your favorite place to RACE? and why is it special to you? Julie |
DAYTONA, FLA.
Great night life Great sight Only bad part was to long of a ride from launch sight to the mill area |
Key West
Not the inside the harbor crap, I'm talking going out to the wall and bangin a left into 6-8 footers, That's what it's all about! |
BJM, You hit the nail on the head, Key West, inside and out, the only way to go.
|
Pt. Pleasant, Best party's of Offshore Racing, you can count on big water, I wish I had been around during the Benihanna (sp) days. But for the Worlds, Key West, you really need to be there the hole week.

Have to go with St. Pete...having all components adjacent is awesome...but it's still second to KW.

Cambridge, Maryland
Pt Pleasant, NJ Daytona, Florida Ft Lauderdale,FLorida Ocean City, Maryland Key West, Florida for the Worlds |
Sarasota, FL
Cambridge, MD I say these two because I believe that these two places offer the complete race package for not only the racers, but more importantly the fans. Everyone knows that the July 4th race in Sarasota is incredible, and Cambridge having a race for the first time last year rolled out the red carpet and shut down Main St and called it Race St for the weekend. Yes KW is an incredible course, but it doesnt compare to the ones I listed above as a complete pkg for the ones that keep us in business and that is the fans. |
We haven't done it in long time, but I'd really like to go back to CHICAGO!!! Talk about a sweet place to race...
|
I haven't been to Cambride, Ocean City or CHICAGO(BEN) but I would love to photos of them.
Post em if you got em!:D Julie |
