The drive thing looks to be a done deal, maybe the engines next.Build bigger engine run it easier and make same power.Engines and drives can run all year.

Doint throw out the current engines, add a 600ci engine package option with same power.limited by cam and rpm to 6300 .In the long run 600ci will cut caust.

Here is my question for everyone on this topic. What do you feel is the problem with the current specs for the motors for the Supercat class? In this type of racing you can kill a motor pretty easily if you wanted too. Set combinations have much to do with this and so does the individuals on the throttles. Always remember that the engines all come from parts fabricated by humans and built by humans leaving the possibility for a potential Blow Up. Unfortunately nothing comes out absolutely perfect.

The current engine is ok. The caust of both engines are the same, it might be the time to update the engine size to save on rebuilds, not to eliminate the current engine.A engine runing is 6300 is better then 7600rpm .Bigger is better.

So has this been addressed to the different organizations or have they brought it up yet. It seemed to me last year that the Mercury engines were more reliable if you can even say that in this form of motor sport. Although the Sterlings showed to have a little bit more power or maybe it was just the person using that power. Should be interesting to see what happens.

DWES - It's costs and everything is looking good in APBA Offshore. BH

If the drive rule is out, are they allowed to modify the drives they use? Cutting down the skeg size and thickness would cut down the drag on the 6 quite a bit.
