Funny... I thought it all was to be decided on the 6th. I don't know about orange smoke but it sure is some kind of smoke

What was posted on Wetpits said they received approval from the KW Tourism Development Association for the funding (something like $80k). The City of KW still has to decide who will get the race permits.

Yes it true,SBI was awarded the funds for the Key west race. It was a unanimous decision,and the permit will be voted on April 6th. I would imagine the permit will follow the funds. I dont think they would of given the money to SBI if they weren't going to issue them the permit. If not its an early Christmas present.

Just recieved the press release from SBI on the key West race,and it also says that any team racing 2 or more races with ANY ORGANIZATION during the 2004 season can be part of the race.
