Orange Beach.... Three Weeks
 

I just talked to Robin the "Powerboat Princess". She said that she has radio, print and television people calling her daily.
She needs photos, video, bio's or anything else you can send her. If you have sponsors or are looking for sponsor dollars it looks like Orange Beach is offering the closest thing to guaranteed exposure.

She's a very nice person but she *****ed me out a bit. She can't understand why no team has committed for their boat parade. I tried to explain about everyone getting ready for the season. But she did not buy it.

So.... I just sent some photos of Team AARP (Deep V Cats) with our information. And committed to the parade (if we get there in time). If you are thinking of going it's not a bad idea.

I thought OB was one of the coolest sites we did last year. The people were really into it. I just booked a three bedroom w/loft on the beach for $115.00 a day. SQ

How many boats are they expecting? Sounds like a good time

I'm not sure about the count. The unofficial number for Miami was 59 before the NBC filming was announced.

Orange Beach Rocks. I can't say enough about the people and their commitment to our sport. The lodging is inexpensive and there is a party every night. A REAL party, SBI style. SQ

Hey Steve, Smitty and I will be there (if the boats are ready). We should be testing both boats this Sunday or Monday????? Anthony(Sticks) has been breaking his a$$ to get my engines together so we'll see. I hope they are ready for Miami. See you in Miami, Augie & Kevin

I told Robin that we are all thrashing to get ready for the season. She should not take it personally. You really should send her some pictures. You and all the Boyz. I don't think they see many Godfather's in Alabama. SQ
