Nutz on the move to St. Pete
The Nutz have started moving their boats St. Petewards.
Orange Nutz (Hocus Pocus) is crossing the Delaware Bridge as I write this. Eric Cormier will team up in St. Pete with a new surprise Throttleman as a permanent member of the Nutz gang. Black Nutz (Typhoon) has just left Randy's shop for the NJ Turnpike with Trophy ***** Jimmy behind the wheel. They have their sharp denutters in the boat. http://www.wetpits.com/images/jimmy.jpg Blue Nutz (Wild Card) will leave Wednesday morning. |
Re: Nutz on the move to St. Pete
Anything is better than me on the wheel. By unanimous team vote, I have been relegated to SouthWest Air.

To IMCO and all Nutz teams: Prop testing will happen in Sarasota. Julie & Matt coordinate.

Re: Nutz on the move to St. Pete
All Nutz will be at the Sarasota 10th street boat ramp Thursday. Testing will begin at 9:30. All Spectators are Welcome. If you are at the boat ramp just look for the Throttle Up rig and say Hi.

Hollywood,
You are more than welcome! We cannot wait to see you all as well! Safe Travels. Julie |
Re: Nutz on the move to St. Pete
The Nutz have completed their test runs in Sarasota and are now safely ensconced in the St. Pete Dry Pits.
Black thanks Blue for running Black while Randy & Glenn are still in NJ (they will be here tomorrow.) Due to the heat and humidity, all Nutz teams have registered speeds approx 2mph less than at home in NJ. The 6 blade Hydros have performed very well and improved acceleration and cornering. ("It's not about how fast you go - it's about how quickly you get arround the racecourse." Mike Tomlinson) Note: All current OSSVL teams have an "Open Source" policy with no secrets whatsoever. We routinely run each other's boats (with Will having more seat time in Black Nutz than Randy.) We prefer to duke it out on the racecourse. |
Re: Nutz on the move to St. Pete
We are deeply indebted to Julie & Matt for all they have done for us. Nothing but Throttle-Up props for us!
