All testing proceeds without any hitches. Observers comment about the amazing radio discipline, not only by Ray Standley in Race Control, but especially by the OSS racers who check in and out of testing as if it is a busy metropolitan airport.

The day ends with a moving ceremony in which Randy Linebach's #24 is retired. No Super Cat will ever carry the #24 again at OSS. Randy's number was and remains forever 24.

I would like to personally congratulate all Board Members of OSS for taking a great step in retiring Randy Linebach's racing number(24). This shows a lot of class on the part of OSS and respect towards Randy's Family Members.

I have to say, the viewing from The Pier was not that great DURING the race, but the boats coming by afterwards were nice picture opportunities. Congrats to all! The OSS support staff out at the race was nothing but friendly and top notch.
