New Richmond is part of the Central Division Championships and the $30,000 purse we put up for the series. This was all done before the SBI and APBA combined a lot of their races in Sarasota, moving the sport forward.

Sometimes things happen and you have to roll with them. I think everyone agrees that the two racing together (all 4 for that matter will be in Key West) is best for the sport long term.

We understand. We have a huge commitment from the Hydroplane guys here and are looking to see if there is any way we can change the date this late in the game.

CR, if you can get the dates changed??? that would be great!...and plus i know there are a few teams that could use that replacement race right about now!!! with teams missing turns and all in the last race!

Hi Chris, we will be in New Richmond for the Tri-State Cup season finale.

It's unfortunate that this year started off with 4, 5, or 6 racing bodies going off in their own direction, which has resulted in overlapping race dates. It's hard enough to coordinate events when folks are communicating, and impossible when they're not. I believe we have seen good progress this season with "merging" the sanctioning groups, and the results seen in Sarasota with large boat counts show that the teams are behind this consolidation. Heck, even Andy from GLSCS is seeing the light here. ;^)

Bottom line, we're committed to supporting your efforts to bring the APBA Central Division back to life. Not to mention, we want a chunk of that $30k!
