Vortec question

Ok, are the Vortecs performing pretty well?? Is there a weight difference in the Merc 525 vs. Vortec HP3?? Have there been any issues with reliability or performance since their release? I am thinking about getting a set and have heard little talk about them..... that could be bad or good!!

SVL Extreme Vortec ,ran the 2003 season on the same engine and won every race they entered.

no spark plug change,I don't know about the oil.
BTW Jen tell em in Milwacky to get plenty of beer I'll be there for the race
