Mark,
I think we will have close to 80 boats in N.C. next weekend, and Deerfield will be even bigger. SBI,and APBA looks life they are turning out to be the big show, who would of guessed six months ago.Its what the racers wanted all along and Sarasota was the first step in the right direction it will only get bigger from now on in.

Cant wait for Deerfield,

I live West of Town, and may just have to get a room on the Beach, to make it easier to stumble home from the bar!!!!!

Is the Embassy Suites on the Beach??

Is it the host hotel as it was last year??

Am I having premature curiosity/eagerness??? :D

Hey Marc - Where did you end up making reservations in Key West?

Embassy Suites is directly on the beach and is also the start/finish. Best place to watch. (also great "free" full breakfast buffet every morning)

Within walking distance is a Comfort Inn and Howard Johnsons ...the HoJo is at turn #2 near the city pier.

Pat D--Thanks

Mike- Is that question selfishly posted to find out how much beer is actually evaporated?? :drink: :drink: :D :D

I have two reservations: One is at the Southern Most Point Beachside (with Beach View)....

-The other is a one bedroom at the Holiday Inn Beachside. Has a Gulf view.

-The Southernmost is about a mile from the viewing area and the Holiday is about 3.2 miles. But a straight shot down highway 1.

-I tried getting into the host Hyatt (over a month ago) and was told some guy (I lost his Phone # and name) had a block of rooms reserved for race people. A recent check showed all Hyatts booked.

-At last check there were rooms left at Holiday Inn and Southernmost.

At present I favor the reservation at the Holiday...
