1) Olympus C-2100, 10X zoom (380MM) movie and sound mode with image stabilization. 2.1 megapixel. Uses Smart media memory card.

2) Panasonic Lumix FZM 10 (my new one) 12X optical zoom-movie & sound mode-with image stabilization.. Rapid fire 4-8 frames/sec.. 4.1 megapixel. Uses SD memory card

3) Olympus C-750, 10X optical zoom with movie and sound modes. NO image stabilization. 4 megapixel. Uses Xd memory card

All the above have flash modes.

# 2 & 3 About $599..

# 1- Check at Olympus website or Amazon should be cheaper..

All the above do great 8x10 prints.

I suggest 10X OPTICAL zoom for photos of races due to distance from shore.
