There will also be NO HELO's in NYC. The are just going to put out 6 more divers on boats.

should be a great race as always, nothing like racing in The Big Apple....Leave it to SBI to pull something like NY off on Sept.11th.

Re: New York Race

Frank, are you going to NY, I just called SBI and due to the limited # of boats allowed, they can't tell me until next week if I can race. Help a brother out man and put in a good word for me. I need to make hotel reservations and flight reservations and the extra time could cost me a lot of $$
My sponsor is really counting on us to race in NY
PS I already faxed all my paperwork

The Hudson and NY harbor is full of debris. I went on a boat trip last week from NJ to Albany, and the Hudson River was so full of debris, we had to use alot of caution and go very slow. We passed, and sometimes hit, logs, telephone poles, dead fish, a couch, and a plastic horse. I'm sure there will be alot of damaged race boats.

If you guys can’t race in NY you can always come out to Pittsburg CA. and race P.O.P.R.A. There is a poker run on Saturday and the race is Sunday. Fox Sports News is going to cover both events. You will not find nicer people to race with.

Telephone Poles, sofas, beds, DEAD BODIES...That's what makes racing on the Hudson River so exciting. Ya never know whats gonna pop up! By the way the dead bodies used to be at the bottom of the river, someone didn't do their job right and there will be hell to pay for that mistake otherwise it's a great site for your sponsers and the Dry Pits are in JERSEY. Oh $hit, another reason for The Jersey Boyz to throw a party. All is welcome. Augie
