Re: penasacola race
According to the reports im hearing, some areas may not have power back for weeks. If I had to guess, There's no way they will be anywhere close to being cleaned up and back to normal in 3 weeks , much less hold an offshore race.
Just my opinion |
Re: penasacola race
According to OSS's website they will be there Oct 15-17 for their national championship, providing they get permits. What happened to Jax? I only lost power for a week and a half and everything gets changed again. I was looking forward to seeing Candy, Willie and the gang since Jax is so close to home. Oh well theres always KW.

Re: penasacola race
check out the pictures on www.pensacolanewsjournal.com -- that area is devastated so badly it hasn't been possible for media to even get video out.
I-10 bridge out for at least 30 days; water and sewer systems seriously comprimised to non-functional; serious fuel shortages; cell and land-line phones sytems marginally functional; etc etc etc Again--check www.pensacolanewsjournal.com for gory details Poorsche :hothead: |
Re: penasacola race
I wouldnt ride my boat around those waters after seing a what happened to the houses along side the beach. Storm surges washed
away Tv`s , cars . aplliances back toward the ocean, so these items are laying in those waters making an artificial reaf. Having been involved in hurricane Andrew, I can asure you that these people can careless of any racing taking place. |
