To all the racers that took their time and treasure, packed up the wagons and journeyed south to the Maryland frontier :D It was great having you put on a show for us!

But I would especially like to thank Augie and Smitty for taking their time to give rides to the two auction winners from the Brittany Madden charity auction. These guys were working late in the dry pits and still got their boats in the water right near the end of testing to give the guys their rides. Both men were given the rides as presents and Augie's rider had been trying to pay for a race boat ride for a couple of years, he was one happy camper after Augie showed him what it was all about and then let him take the wheel for a lap . Smitty's guy was worried he'd be bored since his pleasure boat is pretty fast. But when Smitty was done with him he was like this :D

You guys are the best and it is an honor to call you my friends.

See you all in Key West-let's try for a new all-time low :drink: :D

Ted, I know I can speak for Augie as well as myself, you never even had to ask. It was a pleasure to be able to give a little back. We both feel it is a wonderful thing you all are doing, and are proud to be in the company of such caring people. Thankyou again for a fantastic weekend. Augie, and Smitty
