I have a marketing package Michelle May Schmidt did for me and its been pretty effective

Frank.........

Now your talkin', You got the boat, get out there and use it!!!

Keep in mind though, to run in the worlds in Key West, you have to run 2 races before that, so I think this year is out, start off fresh next season. If you need a hand with anything, Let me know.

Frank,

If you need anything(besides$$$), to go racing, let me know, I am always happy to help out in any way I can, Wrenching(although I'd be afraid to touch those sweet motors in your boat), trailering(although I wouldnt pull you too far with my truck, we can always find a bigger one), Hell, Waterboy, I dont care!!!! This is what I do, and since its going to be a bit before I can afford a raceboat, I just like to help out.

Re: P Class?

Mark,

My boat was built with three sets of kill switches and manual bilge pump. Do you know who may have helmets and jackets I can borrow for this race? Going into overdrive tomorrow to see if I can make it to Deerfield.

If I register with SBI only and attend Deerfield do I still qualify for KW or only if I register with APBA?

What is the difference between registering with APBA vs. SBI?

Re: P Class?

Anyone know where I can get uniform shirts locally around MIami?

Silk screen or embroidered?

Where can I get some vinyl graphics quick and cheap for now around Miami?

Ron P 10-03-2004 07:15 PM

Re: P Class?

Register with either one becuase this is the last race for 2004. The Worlds in Key West is actually the first race of 2005 so you'll need to pay equipment registrations fees again in Key West, but at least they'll carry you through the entire 2005 season.

The two race qualifier rule is usually very laxed. If you ask if you can attend KW, they will probably let you. No matter what you'll be allowed to race in KW, they just might not let you be the World Champ without the 2 races under your belt. SO WHAT??? Right!

Go have fun, you know you've been wanting to do this for a long time.

Frank,

Just seen your post, sorry I didnt call today, I was out Playing on a P-5 boat, and having a few brews afterwards, then came home, and worked with Jason on the Hatch, and then Bar-B-Q'd, now its 10PM, and I am freakin' Beat!!! Did you guys get out???

Well, anyway, I dont have any race gear for ya, but as far as graphics/lettering, contact Ryan Beckly at Kinetic animation, I dont have the # offhand, but do a websearch for Kinetic Animation, or search OSO, and you will find it, I am sure he will be over in Deerfield next week, and be able to get you taken care of. If you need your boat pulled up to Deerfield, either myself, or Jason can handle it(although a 38 behind a 1500 Z-71 may be a little hairy.

Give me a call on my cell tomorrow if you'd like 954-254-0414(doesnt work great at my desk), or at my desk 954-927-2044 ext 118.

Rick

Mark,

It sure does bring back sweet memories of that week. We got it together with everyone's help and suggestions. Thanks for bringing it back. Too funny about Tyler's comments. I was looking forward to race against your old boat. Once again, thanks for bringing it back.

I'm glad we got to chat again in Sarasota. See you soon.
