Cape Cod 2005
 

I was invited to sit in on a meeting this afternoon with the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce for a recap of this past Septembers boat race!
Inspite of the fact that the race was called at the last minute by the race officials, everyone still felt that the event was a success! All agreed that it is a good event to have on the Cape!

The Yarmouth Chamber would love to host another race in 2005 with both the GLSCS and OPA!

Now this could be fun event! I'll keep everyone posted of the developments.

The GLSCS will be in contact with Patty and Brad to get the scoop on the meeting. We were very pleased with the event for 2004 and look forward to working with the Cape Cod group and OPA to put on another great event for 2005. We will put our order in now for better weather.

Please post the Cape Cod dates as soon as possible. The event was utilizing the 50+ foot Viking Yacht of the chairman of our company (Kevin Sheehan). He as I spoke about this a week ago.

If we have the dates in advance, I would try to get the company to cover our costs to come out and race.
