Over 80 Pizzas were then ordered to feed those who had the need for speed!
Donations were accepted, and any balance was being donated to the Juvenial Diabeties Foundation. At the end of the day, a large barbeque was set up at the State Park and Launch Ramp. :drink: |

Re: Thanks for the advice Smitty!!!
Thats a whole lot of SOBs. Alot of boats too . LOL.
Nice turnout. Where were these boats all season long? Have you talked to some of these guys about racing? or, are they just there for pleasure and show? 80 SOBS dont mean jack to OPA if they dont want to come and race. I think the SOB idea was a great idea and would have been a great show. But, they never came out. So lets just let it go. |

If the ones that were asking me about the class for next year want to run, then they can take it up with the Association themselves. Yes, I talked to some of them about racing and they too thought it was a great idea. The reasons I got from some of them for not showing? I would rather not bring it up here in a public forum. Some people already think I have taken shots at OPA when I was only giving Constructive Critism. All because I disagreed with the results in Camden. So I choose to leave it alone. Some didn't handle the critism too well... I'll leave all that up to the performers from now on to speak up. You know as well as anyone else Bruce, if I am on the dock, if I am at the cranes, I always willing to give someone help. So now I'll take Smitty's advice. Attend events such as this where there was no politics. Just a real good time... :drink: |
