Key West pit scooters

Just a FYI:
I spoke with Jane today from SBI's office in Key West and she did confirm that scooters would be allowed to be ridden in the Truman Annex area as long as they were operated by a licensed rider.

Can you say; "Race ON"??? (Just kidding... :p)

Will you be allowed to drive your rented scooter in to the deep end of your hotel pool?Witnessed that one year.I think it was a result of an afternoon at Fat tuesdays.

As long as it is licensed for the street and has a licensed driver operating it according to the SBI rules. Look under "Race Village Do's and Don'ts" on page 13 of the SBI rule book. Dave

If you need scooters you can still get them. I sold out at the Camden New Jersey race but I just reordered more. You can go to my web site at www.jerryscleaners.com to view them. I have gas powered bikes and electric scooters. I know it looks weird that I am a dry cleaners but I sell many differant items. I am one of the directors for the O.P.A.
