Key west pits

Does anyone know If your allowed to sleep over In a bus or an RV in the pits in your race camp?

It is my understanding that over nighting in the pits will not be allowed. Further, the pits will be closed after 6 pm and unless you are working on a race boat and have special permission, you will not be allowed in.
