Need A Scooter For Key West?
 

I have those cool mini motorcycles and electric scooters that everyone was buying at the Camden New Jersey race a few weeks ago. I sold out there and just reordered them for Key West. I'd get one if they were street legal. Only problem with them is that at most of our boat races we like to ride our scooters to different places such as from the dry pits to the wet pits. And most of the time you have to ride them on the street.

In the pits they should not be a problem. We drove them all over in Camden. We were in the dry pits as well as the streets and no one said a word. I am in New Jersey so I don't know what Key West rules are but they don't seem that strick if they let you drink in the streets. I also have the electric scooters if you don't want the gas bikes.

all scooters must be registered insured and operated by a licensed operator the dry pits are city property enforced by key west p.d.

yea you are right. I just called bubba. too much liability, city will have their own PD in the pits. My kid is filing a protest

Not legal, must have horn, brake light, signals.
