It sounded like the Outlaw P class was caught a little off guard with the changes, especially the P-5 guys. But it seemed like most of them just rolled with it and raced.

The new P class rule where posted weeks ahead of time the APBA and SBI web sites.APBA and SBI met months ago and finalized all the rules and class changes ,and also posted that 5 boat needed to be in a class for it to run so the F1 boat shouldn't of been so surprised. After the F1 boats where moved out of P class and ran their own class the rest seem to go fine.

Vic, is that you? Hey guys, I don't have that kind of Power to put boats in classes. Smitty and I talked with Richie the Chief Inspector and asked him to put BJ and Vic down in P4 but that's NOT our call, it was SBI. Please keep The Jersey Boyz out of this, we stay AWAY from the RULES and POLITICS. BJ, I thought we were on the same page? Let me know.

No Augie that wasnt me , i am just getting around to reading some of these quotes tonight but regaudless of what went down at Worlds................... WE LIVE TO RACE ANOTHER DAY!!!
But i would really like to know why we were singled out , We throught the keys at the inspector form SBI and told him if the boat went over 86 MPH he could keep it, We had nothing to hide but he didnt want to here it. Its like he had it in for us before we ever got there.

Glad you responded Vic and your right, we will live to race again. I just don't want bad blood between anyone. SBI makes the rules and they should get the phone call not be posted the way this has gone. But in some crazy way I do understand what JCPERF was asking!

How are the rules going to be in 2005 from the start, JC should have a set rule all year going into the worlds for this not to happen again. It looks like the staff was to overwhelm with the whole venue to accommdate all sanctions. However, the same boat that broke out in P4 in the year, broke out in P5 in Key West.
