Speaking of Sponsors......
 

I thought it might be POSITIVE....to take the time to talk about sponsors. The season is less than 8 weeks away. If you have a sponsor that you would like to promote lets hear about it. Whether it be a restaurant, hotel or product of some sort, there are many ways to promote that client and their product.

My thought was to encourage other Offshore Teams to support these sponsors even if they are not yours. For instance lets say a team has a local restaurant sponsoring them for the race. Well my thinking is that we all have to eat. So why would we not support a fellow racer and his sponsorship with this restaurant, for the race. As we all know it can be difficult to attain sponsors and even more difficult to maintain them. I beleive that this is a positive way to support the sport, you all love so much.

So I will start off with a few:

Swipes...
Frenzy...

To name a few.

So lets see who your sponsors are!

It is great to see you list your sponsors. So who has secured local sponsors in the race sites you plan on racing? I know that many of you get local sponsors for each race. So if you have them lets see them.

I have hotel and dinner reservations to think about for the season, how about the rest of you?

As most are aware I have a camera and no longer a boat (too old) :(

Today I asked the local ABC liquor store if they sponsored or would corporate sponsor a race and or an offshore race team.

He did not know but gave me local corporate phone number:

407 851 0000...I know it seems like a strange number but I called and it is ABC Fine Wines and Liquor corporate.

If anyone wants to try and contact them it might be worth a try..

Another thought is The Daytona Beach Adams Mark which is now a Hilton. It recently reopened in part after the series of hurricanes that visited our area.

Just tossing out some possibilities...
