SK-190[QUOTE]I am a little confused about the voting though. Popeye wins the OSS championship and Reliable Carriers and Pro Marine are still getting more votes as the team to beat?? How does that work?
imo, they are all tough teams! but JT has had a dominating hold on National and World titles, and once his boat is dialed in very hard to beat.

Well, if nothing else we can all expect an exciting season. It's cool to see that I'm not the only one who can't wait for the racing to get started. A lot of anticipation about the competition in OSSC.
I'm new to the forums. Is there usually this much buzz about the upcoming season?
What sucks is that a sanctioning body finally gets a full season of confirmed television coverage and I won't have cable for this year.
Oh well. Maybe I'll be able to make it to a few races.

I don't believe Todd - Pro Marine - will be back this year and I believe Reliable is building a new MTI so they should be more competitive.
I could be wrong on both of these points as I haven't reached out for any new info.

SK-190,
As the season approaches the intensity level rises, with new teams, new boats, some good ole fashion smack talk amongst a few. There are a lot of good people in the know here. It is fun to watch the season progress here if you cant make the races.

As I will be routing for a few teams this season I am really going with the JEM Companies LTD Team even though some may seem them as an underdog. Jay is a good friend of mine and I would really like to see him shine this season. His team and the effort that he has been putting in thus far is really strong. The Platinum powered boats are going to be really strong and I think they have shown that they have the capabilities to beat the Skaters and MTI's. Should be great to see as the season pans out. As a whole I think all the racing in OSS will be strong for this season.
