Florida sounds really fun. Hell, my boat's already 2300 miles from home, I might as well make the most of it being there. I was lucky enough to boat down there only one time in a 35 Cig. and it sure was nice. We went from Lip Ship down to the first Key and back....through Miami...the Intercoastal. I had an unbelievable time! Learned to read a nautical map and follow a compass heading. I couldn't believe how shallow it was so far away from the coast line. the Pacific Ocean out here is a lot different.

I assume Sarasota is just as cool??

Guys just trying to get your take on this since you have been around both boats. My wife and I have been thinking about and MTI or Nor-Tech. My only deal is that I have not been in a Cat and I don't really know much about either of the boats. Which would you suggest and what are some pros and cons? Thanks in advance.

I'm going to the Emerald coast poker run in Destin Florida August 18th through the 21st with my 35 cig. Not sure about the shoot out but I'll probably be there. Blowing the motor was'nt the best thing in the world but what the hey, I'll overhaul both of them and be ready for Sarasota and Key West. Sarasota is not as cool as south Florida but it a great poker run were you can run as hard as you want and theres alot of major hardware to run with and the facilities are great.

Jim, it sucks. I know. I blew up one of mine my very first weekend in my boat. Yes people, that takes talent!!

Great, I'm glad you going to Sarasota!! I might be at the Shoot Out, Thanks for the seat offer. I agree with you that Flash should add Skaters as a potential Cat. The 36 or 40 would be a nice choice!!
