I didn't get the H2o model, but I probably should have. I've tried it on 3 different camcorders and it worked on all of them. Some work with the little remote (Lanc remote) that comes with the package and some don't. Look at their compatibility chart and it shows which camcorders are good.

My camcorder works good but the remote doesn't....so I have to hit record then shove it into this little case (it straps to your waist) then when I want to stop it, pull the camcorder out and hit stop. Either that or buy a new camcorder :mad: My buddy has a camcorder that works perfectly with it....I'll ask him which one it is. :drink:
