I was idleing in to put my boat on the trailer yesterday with my mufflers on, and waved a GDRA lady down. I asked her if I would be alright idleing at night, and she said she would stop me. I asked her to check my DB's and she said that they only have one meter and it stays locked up in the office because no one is trained to use it. :rolleyes: Why would she stop me at night if they can't even check it? She was a very nice Native American woman and she loved the boat :D
I'd say they killed two birds with one stone on their minority quota :eureka:

That would be GREAT!! I'll put it on the trailer Sunday and it will be out of everybody's way. You'll probably need to help me run around the lake a little bit this weekend. That offer is good for boat-less MTI guys as well. I mean that in a good way MC. :chimp:

No biggy man. The motor is on its way to boyd's right now. It may be fixed this Friday.Depends if there is more than just pistons hurt and if the new ones get here by thursday. If not I will try to get the 900's back in by Sat.

Hey guys, don't mean to interrupt your conversation, but I have a few questions to ask. I am assuming most of your boating is done on Grand Lake. How big is the lake and is it deep and safe for a new comer to run it? Should I have someone local with me for awhile? I have an opportunity to relocate from NY to an area close to Fort Smith, Arkansas. I think it is only a few hours to Grand Lake (may be less depending on where I actually purchase). How far of a tow is it from Grand lake to LOTO? I take it to be roughly 4 hrs. (?)
